Privacy Policy

This is a starting template, not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a qualified attorney before relying on it in production.

1. Who we are

Ravine Desk is operated by Ravine Software (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it.

2. What we collect

  • Account data: workspace name, subdomain, and the names/emails of owners, technicians, and clients.
  • Content: tickets, comments, time entries, and file attachments you submit.
  • Operational data: log and usage information needed to run and secure the Service.

3. How we use it

To provide the Service, send transactional email (notifications, invites, magic links), support you, and keep the platform secure. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Subprocessors

We share data with service providers only as needed to operate:

  • Amazon Web Services — SQL Server database hosting.
  • Cloudflare R2 — file/attachment storage.
  • Postmark — transactional and inbound email.
  • Stripe — payment processing (when billing is enabled).

5. Tenant isolation

Each workspace’s data is scoped to its tenant; we design access controls so one tenant cannot read another’s tickets, files, or accounts.

6. Retention

We keep workspace data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, then delete it. You may request deletion sooner.

7. Security

Passwords are hashed; transport is encrypted (HTTPS); files are served only to authenticated users of the owning tenant. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise them.

9. Cookies

We use a session cookie for authentication. We don’t use third-party advertising cookies.
